Melaleuca essential oil, also known as tea tree, is a very gentle essential oil. I like to use it for anything I would use a heavy hitter like oregano for, but when it also needs to be gentle to the user. I will add a couple of drops of melaleuca essential oil to my hair or skin to keep it healthy and blemish free. I will also use it teamed up with lavender when I have a bug bite or minor skin irritation. It is so mild I can use it almost anywhere (avoid mucus membranes - eyes, ears, nose, etc.) and have it be super effective.
More commonly known as “Tea Tree,” Melaleuca essential oil has over 92 different compounds and limitless applications.
